Laid-back, playful, sociable. In many situations, he's got a wise-cracking smartass persona, as people seem to like 'blasé Dylan'. And while a sense of humor (and bad puns) is definitely part of who he is, he secretly cares a lot. Can come across as an ass sometimes, since he often pokes fun at others, but feels genuinely bad if he actually hurts anyone.He can be both protective and defensive of others - while he himself often ends up being somewhat nosy and forward. Sometimes he really doesn't know when to shut up. He finds it difficult to be truly sincere, and it's easier to put up a front or play things off as a joke, rather than risk rejection. His ability to make jokes about pretty much anything also helps him cope in stressful situations, in the form of dark humor.
Despite enjoying a good party and putting forward a devil-may-care attitude, he works hard at the things he's interested in. He wants to study quantum physics, and he single-handedly fixed up the radio shack at camp so he could play music and do the announcements. He's very smart, but sometimes lacking in common sense and realism.
He's definitely no action hero, and is easily scared when presented with physical danger, but he can use his smarts to think of clever solutions and improvise in a tough spot. Like MacGyvering an audio feedback loop to scare away an attacking werewolf. He'll gladly hide behind others who are more capable, but if they're in danger, then he'll also just as easily throw himself in harm's way to save his friends.
APPEARANCE
6'2" tall, on the skinny side. Dark hair, dark eyes, pale skin. Wears comfortable clothes, often slightly obscure band tees, leaning somewhat preppy in overall style. Speaks with a slight vocal fry, and a New York accent. Has a tattoo of a wolf on his left arm.Usually holds himself with a relaxed, playful air. Puts on a jokester persona, which is often hiding anxiety in unfamiliar social situations.
Werewolf verse: During a full moon, in the hour or so leading up to the transformation, he'll have yellow eyes and darkened, infected-looking skin, getting progressively worse. Just before the transformation, he'll also have sharp canine-like teeth.

- Can only be killed with silver.
- Sensitive to noise and bright lights.
- Hates water, especially being in it.
- During the night of the full moon, he instantly transforms into a werewolf, and loses all sense of self, driven solely by animalistic instinct.
HISTORY
Dylan grew up in New York City, as a middle child in a middle class family. He's always been a little bit of a nerd, but still extroverted enough that he ended up at parties he probably shouldn't be at. He's been openly gay since he was pretty young, with his family's support.Being a camp counselor was a way to challenge himself. Though when he arrived, he ended up making a bunch of jokes to deal with the uncomfortable social situation, and since people seemed to like 'blasé Dylan', he leaned into it.
Then they stayed one day longer than supposed to, and everything went wrong from there, as him and his fellow counselors were attacked by werewolves, barely surviving the night. Dylan had several close encounters and was subsequently bitten and infected, becoming a werewolf himself. (Then being cured, or not, depending on verse.)
WORLD STATES

→ Dylan gets bitten by Silas, at radio shack.
→ Ryan chooses not to amputate Dylan's hand. Dylan remains infected.

‼ All the camp counselors are alive, but several remain infected with the werewolf curse.

‼ Dylan regrows his hand during the next full moon.
TRAUMA CONGALINE:

→ Abigail is killed in front of Dylan.
→ Werewolf Emma attacks Dylan and Kaitlyn.
→ Kaitlyn is killed by Caleb in the kitchen, in front of Dylan.
